Annual Meeting 2016

Murphy Huston

Mark Schlereth

Murphy started out wanting to be a history teacher and coach, but after some broadcasting classes at the University of Wisconsin, he was hooked. Denver radio listeners woke up to his voice for a quarter of a century, first on KHOW, then on KOSI. Murphy was named Best Station Entertainment Personality by the Colorado Broadcast Association.

Murphy is truly a good friend of the Arthritis Foundation. As someone living with rheumatoid arthritis, he understands all too well the challenges faced by people with a chronic disease. Though recently retired from morning radio, he manages to stay busy with public appearances, including serving for many years as emcee of the Foundation’s Jingle Bell Run and Walk to Cure Arthritis events in Denver.

We’re pleased to have Murphy join us as emcee of the Celebrating Our Champions Lunch Awards.
