FASENRA Pen® (benralizumab)
FASENRA Pen gives you the option to self-administer after proper training and your healthcare provider's approval.
The FASENRA Pen® (benralizumab) is a single-dose autoinjector for administering FASENRA. FASENRA is a FDA approved prescription medicine used:
- with other asthma medicines for the maintenance treatment of asthma in adults and children 6 years and older whose asthma is not controlled with their current asthma medicines. FASENRA is not used to treat sudden breathing problems.
- to treat adults with eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA).
- to treat adults and children 12 years and older with hypereosinophilic syndrome (HES).
ABBREVIATED IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
FASENRA is not for sudden breathing problems. Serious allergic reactions including anaphylaxis may occur. Get help right away for swelling of your face, mouth, tongue, or trouble breathing. Don’t stop treatments, including oral steroids, without talking with your doctor. Tell your doctor if your condition worsens or you have a parasitic infection. Headache, sore throat, allergic reactions and flu-like symptoms can occur. These are not all the possible side effects of FASENRA.
