Welcome to Alaska
There are more than 50 million Americans with Arthritis - 125,000 of them live in Alaska. The Arthritis Foundation is the Champion of Yes. We are focused on finding a cure and championing the fight against arthritis through vital information, advocacy, science and community. Our goal is to chart a winning course, guiding families in developing personalized plans for saying yes – day after day.
Camp ArCTIC is an annual camp for Alaskan children with juvenile arthritis or childhood rheumatic diseases and their parents. At Camp ArCTIC, you will have the opportunity to meet, share strategies and form friendships with other families as well as have access to a variety of health professionals who will be available to answer questions and talk more about living with arthritis.
Who Can Attend: Every Alaskan child 5-18 with arthritis is invited to attend camp and encouraged* to have 1 parent or guardian join us at camp for fun and educational opportunities. Registration and attendance is on a first-come, first-served basis, so please register early. *Children 5-7 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
