Pioneer
Pioneers are not afraid to enter new territory in the search for a cure for arthritis. They partner with the Arthritis Foundation to offer new programs, connect people to each other and search for new treatments. By contributing $1,000,000 to $1,499,999 you are showing others the way.
Alpha Omicron Pi (AOII) is an international women’s fraternity with over 200,000 initiated members, 128 active collegiate chapters and 133 alumnae chapters across the U.S. and Canada. AOII has supported the arthritis community for nearly six decades. Through this partnership, AOII has played a vital role in advancing scientific research and providing life-changing resources for individuals and families affected by arthritis. Their impact has been especially meaningful for families living with juvenile arthritis (JA) and other childhood rheumatic conditions. AOII’s continued generous support has helped make key initiatives possible, including the JA Family Summit, which creates powerful and lasting experiences for families. AOII funding supports JA Family Summit, JA Power Packs, JA Camps, the Helpline, and science initiatives like PIKASO and the Rheumatology Fellow Training Program. AOII also distributes hundreds of comforting stuffed pandas to kids at our JA Family Summit every year, and their members volunteer at camps across the country. They participate in Walk to Cure Arthritis and Jingle Bell Run events and host their own “Strike Out Arthritis!” fundraisers nationwide. To learn more about AOII, please visit www.alphaomicronpi.org.
