50 to 150 mg daily in a single dose, taken by mouth. This drug may also be given by intravenous (IV) infusion. IV dosages vary

Special Instructions

Take with food. Drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication.

Potential Side Effects

Blood in urine; darkening of skin and fingernails; hair loss; infertility; loss of appetite; low blood cell counts; missing menstrual periods; nausea; vomiting

Be Aware

This drug can cause potential harm to a developing fetus. Use two forms of birth control while taking this drug.

Use of cyclophosphamide may make you more likely to get infections and certain cancers. Your doctor should order periodic blood and urine tests to check for unwanted effects.
