Managing pain from juvenile arthritis is a complex issue that sometimes goes beyond taking medication. In this recording from the 2020 JA Conference, pediatric psychologist Will Frye, PhD, discusses non-drug and behavorial strategies to help children cope with chronic pain. Among these strategies include ways parents can engage in a healthy dialogue with their children to help them reframe thoughts and limitations around pain.
