July Is Juvenile Arthritis Awareness Month

Kids Get Arthritis, Too

Feeling different and alone. Countless missed school days. Frequent shots or infusions. Exhausting achiness. They are just some of the challenges that close to 300,000 children and their families living with  juvenile arthritis (JA) across the U.S. are facing. But we can make a difference — we can make them feel seen and heard.

This Juvenile Arthritis Awareness Month, join us in raising awareness. Together, we can amplify our voices with the message that Kids Get Arthritis, Too.

Many people don’t realize that even infants can be diagnosed with arthritis.  The impact can be life-changing — physically, emotionally and socially. Thanks  to your support, the Arthritis Foundation is funding groundbreaking research  and advancing treatment options, helping kids with JA live fuller, healthier lives.

And we’re not stopping there. We continue to push for new therapies, develop  vital resources and advocate for better access to care so families never have to  face juvenile arthritis alone.

Thank you for supporting the Arthritis Foundation and the JA community this Juvenile Arthritis Awareness Month — and all year long.
