Arthritis Foundation Earns Great Place To Work Certification™
Workplace recognition honors the people and culture that fuel our mission.
ATLANTA — September 14, 2026 — The Arthritis Foundation, the nation's leading nonprofit organization dedicated to conquering arthritis and improving quality of life for arthritis patients, is Certified™ by Great Place To Work®.
This prestigious award is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience working at the Arthritis Foundation. This year, 89% of employees said it is a great place to work — 32 points higher than the average U.S. company.
Great Place To Work® is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience and the leadership behaviors proven to deliver market-leading revenue, employee retention and increased innovation.
According to this year’s survey, 96% of Arthritis Foundation employees said they are proud to tell others where they work, and 94% said new employees are made to feel welcome when they join the Foundation.
“I’m incredibly proud of the employee survey results and earning the Great Place To Work Certification,” says Steven Taylor, president and CEO of the Arthritis Foundation. “The numbers tell us our employees truly believe in our mission and feel a genuine sense of ownership in our mission to conquer arthritis. When our team is proud to represent the Foundation, it strengthens how we serve arthritis patients and families throughout their journey with the leading cause of disability in the U.S.”
The Foundation is fiercely committed to healthy work/life balance for its employees. The non-profit organization supports flexible work schedules, offers development courses for continued professional learning and growth, and a variety of other benefits to promote good health, financial security and job satisfaction.
According to Great Place To Work research, job seekers are 4.5 times more likely to find a great boss at a certified great workplace. Additionally, employees at certified workplaces are 93% more likely to look forward to coming to work and are twice as likely to be paid fairly and have a fair chance at promotion.
"Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience," says Sarah Lewis-Kulin, the vice president of Global Recognition at Great Place To Work. She emphasizes that certification is the sole official recognition earned by the real-time feedback of employees regarding their company culture. “By successfully earning this recognition, it is evident that the Arthritis Foundation stands out as one of the top companies to work for, providing a great workplace environment for its employees."
