Welcome to New Jersey
There are more than 50 million Americans with Arthritis - 1,561,000 of them live in New Jersey. The Arthritis Foundation is the Champion of Yes. We are focused on finding a cure and championing the fight against arthritis through vital information, advocacy, science and community. Our goal is to chart a winning course, guiding families in developing personalized plans for saying yes – day after day.
The Arthritis Foundation gives children with arthritis the opportunity to make lifetime memories through camp. The specialty, residential juvenile arthritis summer camps focus on what campers can do, not what they can’t do. Campers are able to learn from others who have similar conditions and experiences. The program is designed to increase campers’ self-esteem by creating opportunities for them to meet personal challenges. Camp CHAT is an overnight camping experience specifically for kids ages 8-17-years-old.
The Evening of Honors is an annual event that acknowledges leaders in the advancement of research and awareness for the management, prevention, and cure of arthritis, the most common cause of disability in the United States.
