Welcome to Connecticut
There are more than 50 million Americans with Arthritis - 663,000 of them live in Connecticut. The Arthritis Foundation is the Champion of Yes. We are focused on finding a cure and championing the fight against arthritis through vital information, advocacy, science and community. Our goal is to chart a winning course, guiding families in developing personalized plans for saying yes – day after day.
No matter if you need relief from arthritis pain or just want to be active, the Arthritis Foundation’s six week Walk With Ease program can teach you how to safely make physical activity part of your everyday life.
Class meets from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m at The Cheshire Community YMCA. For more information and to register contact John Phillips at firstname.lastname@example.org or 203-272-3150 ex. 511.
Live Yes! Events from the Arthritis Foundation are designed to give you the support and information you need to help you live life to the fullest. Join us for a discussion about nutrition and arthritis. Indira Pulliadath will host a Q & A about nutrition and anti-inflammatory diets.
JA Days are a great experience for children with juvenile arthritis (JA), their parents, caregivers and siblings. The greatest benefit of these programs is getting to meet and network with other families who are affected by JA and share some of the same feelings, experiences and concerns. It's a place to exchange ideas, give and receive encouragement, make new friends and know you're not alone.
The evening will consist of passed hors d'oeuvres, an open bar, a silent auction, sit-down dinner and speeches from members of the local arthritis community.
