We are focused on finding a cure and championing the fight against arthritis through vital information, advocacy, science and community. Our goal is to chart a winning course, guiding families in developing personalized plans for saying yes – day after day.
The annual National Juvenile Arthritis Conference is the Arthritis Foundation’s signature, nationwide event for families affected by juvenile arthritis. For more than 30 years, we’ve brought together thousands of families – more than 25,000 people – kids, teens, young adults, siblings, parents, caretakers and health care professionals and experts across the country.
This four-day educational conference focuses on health, wellness and fun for families and children affected by JA and related childhood rheumatic diseases. There are educational sessions for parents and caregivers, child and teen-specific programming and activities – even siblings have their own session. The whole family is invited
Have you ever wondered what it is like to see the world from another angle? Join us at the Santa Ynez Airport, where we will learn about the discovery of flight! Learn what it is like to be a pilot, view airplanes up close and even sit in the planes for a photo opt! Parents will have the opportunity to speak with Dr. Parsa, our local Pediatric Rheumatologist.
JA Days are a great experience for children with juvenile arthritis (JA), their parents, caregivers and siblings. The greatest benefit of these programs is getting to meet and network with other families who are affected by JA and share some of the same feelings, experiences and concerns.
Join us for Living Your Yes With RA, a personalized goal-setting event brought to you by the Arthritis Foundation. This free forum gives you the opportunity to learn ways that can help you say Yes more than No, despite the challenges of living with rheumatoid arthritis. You’ll get expert advice from a local rheumatologist PLUS guidance on setting goals that can help you live life to its fullest.
