Welcome to Texas
There are more than 50 million Americans with Arthritis - 4,028,000 of them live in Texas. The Arthritis Foundation is the Champion of Yes. We are focused on finding a cure and championing the fight against arthritis through vital information, advocacy, science and community. Our goal is to chart a winning course, guiding families in developing personalized plans for saying yes – day after day.
In partnership with Texas Orthopedic Hospital, the Arthritis Foundation proudly presents Arthritis Doc Talk. Featured speakers are Holly Jones, MD, Rheumatologist and Anay R. Patel, MD, Joint Arthroplasty. Join us to learn more about arthritis and engage in Q&A with our speakers. Registration is free-of-charge to those with all types of arthritis and their loved ones. Refreshments will be served.
The Arthritis Foundation’s Spin to Stop Arthritis is a fun way to get moving and raise funds and awareness to cure America’s #1 cause of disability. Whether you’re new to spin or a pro, you’ll be able to challenge yourself physically while funding valuable research and support for those living with arthritis pain. Spin to Stop Arthritis features a one-hour, high-energy cycling class with a fun post-ride celebration.
JA Days are a great experience for children with juvenile arthritis (JA), their parents, caregivers and siblings. The greatest benefit of these programs is getting to meet and network with other families who are affected by JA and share some of the same feelings, experiences and concerns. It's a place to exchange ideas, give and receive encouragement, make new friends and know you're not alone.
It’s time to sing the blues away and find a cure for arthritis. Join us for the 2019 Boots & Blues Concert Featuring Guy Forsyth - Austin Music Award Winner for Best Blues Band, Best Miscellaneous Instrumentalist - Harmonica and Best Male Vocalist.
Camp KGAT is a family camp which gives kids with arthritis and related conditions along with their parents and siblings the chance to make lasting memories. The camp experience helps families gain a greater understanding of the juvenile arthritis diagnosis and treatment, develop peer-to-peer support and increase independence and self-confidence.
