This year marks the Tenth Anniversary of Dallas’ infamous Bone Bash benefiting the Arthritis Foundation. This annual, Halloween-themed, costumed affair is a highlight of Dallas’ fall social calendar. Founded in 2006, this event has raised more than $2 million to support the Foundation’s focus on finding a cure and championing the fight against arthritis with life-changing information, advocacy, science and community programs. In North Texas alone, there are nearly one million people, including more than 7,000 children, living with the pain of arthritis every day. To commemorate this milestone year and the impact the Dallas Bone Bash has had on the lives of North Texans with arthritis, the Arthritis Foundation will honor Dr. W.Z. “Buz” Burkhead, the event founder, and Dr. Rob Langdon, our most generous supporter.
2015 JA CAMPS
In 2015, the road trip will start in Capitan, New Mexico then onto Quapaw, Oklahoma and, finally, we will end in Burton, Texas. JA kids and teens can bring their siblings to Camp KGAT in New Mexico. Camp JAM in Oklahoma is for JA kids and teens only. End the road trip in Texas with the whole family for Camp KGAT Family Weekend! Each camp gives children and teens with JA opportunities to gain self-confidence and feel empowered. So pack your bags because we are going to hit the road!
