The Arthritis Foundation’s Ease of Use Commendation recognizes products proven to make life easier for people who have arthritis and other physical limitations. Independently tested by experts and evaluated by people with arthritis, Ease of Use products are easy to use by everyone.
Putting Products to the Test
The process begins with the manufacturer, who submits a product to the Arthritis Foundation seeking expert evaluation of its product. At the Georgia Tech Research Institute lab in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Brad Fain, principle research scientist and developer of the consumer product evaluation process for the Arthritis Foundation’s Ease of Use program, conducts tests to determine if the product is easy to use for someone with arthritis.
