What Is the Comeback Club?
The Comeback Club is a new community the Arthritis Foundation is creating with and for people who have experienced the life-changing impact of joint replacement and people considering surgery. Founding members will help shape the conversations, connections and support that empower others to move forward with confidence and see what's possible on the other side of pain.
Celebrate Your Comeback
Joint replacement is more than a procedure. It's a personal journey marked by courage, determination and resilience. As a Comeback Club member, you can celebrate how far you've come and the life you've reclaimed beyond chronic joint pain. It's also a place where your progress is recognized by people who truly understand the challenges you've overcome and the strength it took to get there.
Connect With Those Who Understand
There's something powerful about connecting with people who have walked a similar path. The Comeback Club brings together individuals who understand the physical, emotional and personal aspects of living with severe joint pain and choosing joint replacement. Build meaningful relationships, share experiences, celebrate successes and find a sense of belonging in a community that understands your comeback story.
Inspire the Next Comeback Story
Someone considering joint replacement today may be searching for the same reassurance you once needed. By sharing your experience, recovery journey and lessons learned, you can help others feel more informed, confident and hopeful about their future. Your story has the power to encourage, guide and inspire the next comeback, turning your experience into a meaningful source of support for someone else.
After those first three weeks, I started feeling less pain. I was bending at my knee much better than I had in years. Steps were not as hard to do as they had been. I could sit on the floor with my granddaughter and play without wondering how I would get up.
