New California Law Requires Better Disclosure of Health Plan Coverage and Cost-Sharing

California Governor Jerry Brown has signed into law Senate Bill 1052 to create formulary transparency in health insurance plans that will make it easier for people with arthritis to make sure the health insurance plan they choose covers the prescription drugs they need.

Thirty two advocates from the Great West Region traveled to Washington D.C. for the Advocacy Summit. These advocates met with countless legislators and shared how arthritis impacts their lives and how our elected officials can enact change and improvements for those with arthritis.
