6/18/2017 to 6/24/2017

In partnership with Nicklaus Children's Hospital and Dr. Rivas-Chacon, Camp Fun Rise gives kids living with juvenile arthritis and other childhood rheumatic diseases the chance to be themselves. Camp Fun Rise provides a safe and nurturing environment that is supervised by trained staff and medical professionals. It features traditional summer camping activities, from games and crafts to campfires and sing-alongs.

In addition to forging new friendships and amazing memories, campers gain a better understanding of their disease while increasing independence and self-confidence.

Parents can apply for camp through Dr. Rivas-Chacon. For more information contact Katie Bertotti at kbertotti@arthritis.org, or call 615-806-8538.
