Welcome to Alaska
There are more than 50 million Americans with Arthritis - 125,000 of them live in Alaska. The Arthritis Foundation is the Champion of Yes. We are focused on finding a cure and championing the fight against arthritis through vital information, advocacy, science and community. Our goal is to chart a winning course, guiding families in developing personalized plans for saying yes – day after day.
Arthritis Foundation camps provide a safe and secure camping experience for children and teens with juvenile arthritis and childhood rheumatic diseases. Camp ArCTIC is a family camp. Your family will have the opportunity to meet, share strategies and form friendships with other families and have access to a variety of health professionals who will be available to answer questions and talk more about living with arthritis.
Every child ages 5 -18 with arthritis or a related rheumatic disease is invited to attend camp and encouraged* to have 1 parent or guardian join us at camp for fun and educational opportunities. *Children ages 5 - 7 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Official registration is required. Register at www.arthritis.org/jacamps. Registration opens February 15 and fills quickly!
