Mike's Story
Mike isn’t defined by rheumatoid arthritis. He lives life to the fullest. He enjoys spending time with family, golfing, camping, kart racing and volunteering for the Foundation’s Mini Grand Prix.
Mike was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in January 2010. Since then, his perspective on having arthritis has improved as he continues to do what he loves. Mike enjoys spending time with his family and friends, golfing, camping and kart racing.
His love for kart racing and support of his wife, Kate, prompted him to become involved with the Arthritis Foundation Mini Grand Prix event at the Stockholm Karting Center in Cokato, Minnesota. Mike volunteers for the Mini Grand Prix to honor his mother who suffered from arthritis and to enlighten others to support a cause that is special to him.
