POSITION SUMMARY (Basic purpose or primary function of job)

The Senior Technical Lead – Web & Mobile Solutions participates in web site technical management and administration, as well as mobile (iOS and Android) and web platform development. This position performs technical architecture and design and development of various Web-based and Mobile tools and solutions that support various Arthritis Foundation constituent engagement initiatives. The Senior Technical Lead – Web & Mobile solutions also performs as an internal thought leader relative to the design and delivery of high quality web-based products and solutions.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Principal responsibilities or job duties)

  1. Performs regression testing on all new web site functions and content.
  2. Coordinates with MarCom and Consumer Health leads on all web content publishing.
  3. Publishes mobile apps to stores.
  4. Partners with Special Projects lead to coordinate work with web and app developers.
  5. Manages online merchandise store.
  6. Defines a robust architecture for building new applications and releases, leveraging and enhancing existing building blocks, or creating new reusable component.
  7. Understands the long-term business objectives and suggests technical strategies to meet those objectives by introducing innovation through technology.
  8. Designs and develops Mobile applications that meet business needs and that adhere to software development best practices and standards.
  9. Leads design, development, and implementation cycles on various projects and conducts design, code, QA walkthroughs and reviews.
  10. Serves as a technical consultant to team members and as a mentor to other developers to improve their designs and documentation.
  11. Directly engaged in high level design and low level coding activities.
  12. Works as a technical liaison between various teams in the organization as well as external partners, and, when applicable, contract resources
  13. Communicates designed solutions to ensure projects follow the agreed upon Enterprise Architecture standards.
  14. Stays up to date on emerging tools and technologies to ensure web/mobile products are aligned with  internal and industry “best practices”.
  15. Trouble shoots web/mobile technical issues and provides recommendation/solution to resolve the issues.



  1. BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, related fields or equivalent.
  2. 5 - 7 years of IT industry experience. Demonstrated experience creating and deploying Web-based and Mobile applications.
  3. Mobile development experience on either or both IOS and Android platforms.
  4. Demonstrated technical aptitude and strong analytical skills with proven results.
  5. Ability to understand technical subjects, emerging technologies, and their relevance to the marketplace.
  6. Ability to work well and exert influence as a member of a highly-integrated team, composed of both technical and non-technical members.
  7. Ability to demonstrate strong communication, project management, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Design & Develop complex reporting solutions and dashboards.


Create advanced self-service BI and DW environments.


Facilitate team discussions and project workshops for requirements gathering, report design, dashboard design.
