POSITION SUMMARY (Basic purpose or primary function of job)

The Arthritis Foundation is boldly pursuing a cure for America’s number one cause of disability, while championing the fight against arthritis with life-changing resources, science, advocacy and community connections.

We are selectively searching for a dynamic, self-starter intern dedicated to our Marketing Services team. The ideal candidate is passionate about marketing execution, as well as the meaningful strategy that brings it to life. The successful intern will apply learned skills to real life marketing campaigns through thoughtful collaboration and passion to support our mission.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Principal responsibilities or job duties)

  1. Collect quantitative data from marketing campaigns to help develop results presentations
  2. Participate in ideation sessions to help identify creative marketing executions for partners and clients
  3. Assist in information gathering to help develop project briefs
  4. Participate in meetings, collaborate on proposals, and evaluate results
  5. Support planning and implementation for foundation events
  6. Learning and assisting in project management processes

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  1. Completed or working towards a B.A. in Marketing, or related course of study
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
  3. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a nimble demeanor, as priorities shift quickly
  4. Detail-oriented, data-driven, creative multi tasker and enthusiastic team player
  5. Expert verbal and written communication skills
