Digital Traffic Production Manager | Atlanta, GA

POSITION SUMMARY (Basic purpose or primary function of job)

The Digital Traffic Manager will handle the day-to-day jobs tasks and trafficking to appropriate digital and creative team members. Work cross-functionally with upper management, marketing managers, creatives and clients. This position is responsible for approving and opening projects through our project management system. The Digital Traffic Manager will work with the marketing managers to vet all client requests before trafficking the work to the digital or creative team. S/he will schedule the needed resources for projects, creating and communicating project timelines and sprints, and ushering each project through the digital process. The responsibility for keeping projects on deadline, handling the logistics and keeping all parties updated on the progress is a must. S/he must have the ability to multitask, organize and collaborate. Strong decision-making and prioritization are essential. The Digital Traffic Manager must understand digital projects as a whole and collaborate with the digital marketing team and the digital experience team to meet project goals. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Principal responsibilities or job duties)

  1. Manages the intake and opening of all Digital projects through our current project management system
  2. Works closely with the Creative Services Traffic Manager to ensure all creative resources are aligned
  3. Create efficient project timelines and workflows, comparing existing schedules against proposed timelines to identify overbooking
  4. Make recommendations, and creatively finding resolutions to ensure milestones and deadlines are feasible
  5. Work closely with Digital Marketing team and Digital Experience team during the project planning phase
  6. Assign project tasks and modify timelines to accommodate new and changing priorities
  7. Track down files and information the team needs to complete assigned tasks
  8. Understanding of agile process, workflow, and creative skill sets
  9. Proven expertise in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and project management tools
  10. People-person capable of building positive relationships across department
  11. Ensure traffic deliverables as needed to clients for feedback/approval and to final destinations when complete
  12. QA client request before delivering to client for edits and /or approval
  13. QA cross browser for website deliverable

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  1. Bachelor's degree in a Marketing or related field
  2. 2-3 years project management experience in either a traditional agency or in-house marketing environment.
  3. Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  4. Solid project management and organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline driven environment, including strong attention to detail.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Problem solving mindset.
  7. Highly motivated and proactive.
  8. Working knowledge of project management systems and tools – preferably Workamajig or similar
  9. Project management experience of digital marketing including, social media, multi-channel marketing campaigns and web.
