Welcome to Wisconsin

Grassroots
Join Wisconsin Arthritis Advocates
Here's an easy, flexible opportunity to voice your arthritis related health concerns!
Visit our advocacy section of the Public Policy and Advocacy Office to learn about advocacy priorities and how to reach your congressional leaders.
By joining our network, you are simply indicating your interest in being informed on state and national issues related to arthritis. We will send you occasional information on issues that affect people with arthritis.
You can choose:
- If you would like to respond on any given issues.
- What your response will be: a letter, phone call, personal visit to a legislator, attend a local "town hall" meeting in your district, etc.
- If you would like to be involved in any advocacy meetings or rallies, or serve as an informal advocacy coordinator in your area.
You don't have to ever leave home to be involved or you could go all the way to Washington D.C. (or Madison) to meet with legislators if you choose.
Our goal at the Arthritis Foundation is to have several advocates in every congressional district in the state. We need people like you, even if you have never been involved with advocacy before.
You will receive a booklet, Guide to Effective Volunteer Advocacy, that provides helpful information on being an effective advocate.
Your voice can be heard! You can make a difference!
Contact the Wisconsin Chapter for more information or for a registration form.
