Education Program: Arthritis, Ego and the Active Adult:The Role of aging and maintaining an active lifestyle

The Arthritis Foundation, in partnership with Wheaton Franciscan Health Care and San Camillo Senior Living, will host a consumer education program on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 9:30-10:30 AM at San Camillo Senior Living 10200 W. Bluemound Road Wauwatosa, WI 53226. Register by calling 414-259-6310.

Eric Pifel, M.D., an orthopedic and sports medicine surgeon with Midwest Orthopedic Specialty Hospital will discuss the role of aging and injury prevention while maintaining an active lifestyle. The goals of the program are to arm older adults with knowledge about how to overcome obstacles, including our own egos, on the path to an active and healthy lifestyle. He will discuss self-management options for staying strong in spite of arthritis.
