The Arthritis Foundation and AgrAbility are presenting a FREE workshop for farmers, gardeners, agricultural workers, healthcare professionals and the general public.
Topics will include information on arthritis as a disease, treatment and pain management options, sources of joint stress and pain on the farm, operation changes, modifications to farm equipment and assistive technology tools. Refreshments will be provided.
When: Thursday March 6, 2014, 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Arthritis Foundation, Great Lakes Region is excited to announce the availability of scholarships for families in our five state region (Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, Central & Western Pennsylvania) to attend the 2014 National Juvenile Arthritis Conference in Keystone, Colorado at the Keystone Resort from July 3-6.

The Arthritis Foundation’s Breaking the Pain Chain® program is an interactive educational program that empowers participants to effectively manage their arthritis and related chronic conditions through an understanding of the pain pathways and the effect pain can have on the physical, emotional and social aspects of life. Participants build a personal Pain Management Plan throughout the four-week course.
