Camp helps kids deal with their juvenile arthritis

To help children deal with that and to let them feel like and accomplish what non-arthritic kids do every day, the Arthritis Foundation in 2003 established Camp Dakota, a summer camp for kids. Its facilities are similar to those at most camps – a swimming and fishing pond, nature center, trails, activity fields and, of course, a large campfire pit suitable for any marshmallow roast and sing-along. read more
