- Identify characteristics of appropriate program facilities
- Describe how to market and recruit program facilities and meeting sites
It is more efficient to develop partnerships with organizations that have multiple delivery sites. However, there are some situations when you may need to work with an individual facility, for example, if you are trying to reach a specific underserved population or area not serviced by an existing system partner, or when a person registers for a training workshop who is not affiliated with an existing partnering agency. This chapter will help large delivery systems that are partnering with the Arthritis Foundation (AF) and/or a state health department to recruit their local delivery sites. This section also contains information that will be useful to AF chapters to help in recruiting program facilities in areas not serviced by a system partner.
