Trainers play a key role in maintaining your program’s fidelity and effectiveness over time. Experience has shown that breakdowns in programs can often be traced back to weak trainers; whereas, strong trainers will help ensure that you have well-equipped program leaders and instructors. It is critical that you are strategic and targeted in recruiting your trainers. This section is designed to help Arthritis Foundation (AF) chapters, state health departments and system partners understand how to recruit professional and passionate trainers who will add to your programs.
