Welcome to Tennessee
The Arthritis Foundation, Southeast Region's Tennessee offices serve all 95 counties across the state and is actively working to reduce the unacceptable impact of arthritis on the lives of 1.2 million adults and nearly 6,000 children in our state.
Juvenile Arthritis Camp AcheAway July 12th-18th.
The Arthritis Foundation, Southeast Region gives children with arthritis the opportunity to make lifetime memories through camp. The residential juvenile arthritis summer camps focus on what campers can do, not what they can’t do. Campers are able to learn from others who have similar conditions and experiences. The program is designed to increase campers’ self-esteem by creating opportunities for them to meet personal challenges. The camp offers most traditional summer camp activities such as campfires and singing, canoeing, fishing, arts and crafts, swimming and nature hikes. All of these things create opportunities for individual accomplishment in a positive and encouraging environment. Located on 320 beautiful acres on Percy Priest Lake in Nashville, Tenn., the Joe C. Davis YMCA Outdoor Center and YMCA Camp Widjiwagan is owned and operated by the YMCA of Middle Tennessee. Please contact Katie Pickens at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions.
