The Arthritis Foundation, Southeast Region's Tennessee offices serve all 95 counties across the state and is actively working to reduce the unacceptable impact of arthritis on the lives of 1.2 million adults and nearly 6,000 children in our state. In fact, 50 million adults and approximately 300,000 children nationwide have a doctor-diagnosed form of arthritis making it the nation's leading cause of disability. We look forward to serving you as we lead efforts to make the pain and limitations of this disease unacceptable.

Our Camp AcheAway Tennessee is now accepting applications! It's taking place June 24-29 or July 1-6 at YMCA Camp Widjiwagon in Nashville. Registration deadline is June 1st so hurry and secure your scholarship spot!
Trezevant Manor Earns Flagship Program Designation
Congratulations and thank you to Trezevant Manor in Memphis! They have earned the Arthritis Foundation Tennessee office's Flagship Designation by partnering in all four of our Programs for Better Living. Our Programs for Better Living are proven to reduce the pain of arthritis and improve overall health. Great job Trezevant Manor!
On May 31st, Arthritis Foundation President and CEO Dr. John H. Klippel joined HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius in support of changes to the government insurance programs that will make it easier for Americans with pre-existing conditions to get health insurance coverage. The Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Program (PCIP) will offer more Americans with chronic conditions, like arthritis, access to affordable coverage. The PCIP is for people who are unable to purchase coverage due to a specific pre-existing medical condition.
