November/December 2008
More than 40 Arthritis Foundation-funded researchers presented their findings during the American College of Rheumatology Annual Scientific Meeting in October. This meeting – with more than 15,000 attendees – is the world’s most comprehensive and diverse international gathering of physicians, scientists and health care professionals devoted to arthritis and related diseases.
In this issue of Research Update, we are pleased to give you a glimpse at the good work being done through the Foundation’s research grant program. Among the 70 presentations given by our funded scientists, we have chosen several key ones to share. We all are looking forward to following the progress being made by these fine scientists.
