Administration Options

Patients who are ready for ENBREL have 3 flexible administration options for injecting.

·        50 mg/mL prefilled syringe

·        50 mg/mL ENBREL® SureClickTM autoinjector

·        25 mg multi-use vial 

All 3 administration options for ENBREL have received an Ease-of-Use Commendation from the Arthritis Foundation.

ACCUZYME SE and PANAFIL SE have received an Ease-of-Use Commendation for the user-friendly design of the new delivery system. ACCUZYME SE and PANAFIL SE are the first wound care treatments to receive this commendation from the Arthritis Foundation. HUMIRA™ (adalimumab)
Injection Devices

Both injection devices for HUMIRA® (adalimumab), a medication for rheumatoid arthritis made by Abbott, have received an Ease-of-Use Commendation. The medication comes pre-filled and pre-measured and the RA-friendly syringe and HUMIRA Pen are easy to use. Specially designed for people who may have limited use of their hands from the destructive progression of RA, the lightweight syringe has large plastic wings and an indented thumb rest grip which make it easy to hold.   The HUMIRA Pen is a unique single-use, disposable device that makes it easier and less painful to inject. Each Pen is pre-loaded with a dose of HUMIRA.  And you can self-inject HUMIRA without seeing a needle during the injection process.

Kineret (anakinra) Injection Device

SimpleJect and EZ-Syringe, innovative self-injection devices for a rheumatoid arthritis medication called Kineret™ (anakinra), have received an Ease-of-Use Commendation. Self-injections can be a physical struggle for people living with rheumatoid arthritis and SimpleJect and EZ-Syringe were designed with direct input from rheumatoid arthritis patients to be easy to use.

Nasonex® (mometasone furoate monohydrate)

NASONEX® (mometasone furoate monohydrate) Nasal Spray, 50 mcg* is the first nasal allergy spray to receive The Arthritis Foundation’s Ease-of-Use Commendation.  NASONEX® is a prescription nasal allergy spray approved for the treatment of seasonal and perennial nasal allergy symptoms in adults and children 2 years of age and older.  Taken just once a day, NASONEX® helps relieve nasal allergy symptoms.  These symptoms are itchy10.0pt;font-family:Arial">Side effects were generally mild and included he, viral infection, sore throat, nosebleeds, and coughing.
