HUMIRA
(adalimumab)
Injection Devices
Both
injection devices for HUMIRA® (adalimumab), a medication for rheumatoid
arthritis made by Abbott, have received an Ease-of-Use Commendation. The
medication comes pre-filled and pre-measured and the RA-friendly syringe and
HUMIRA Pen are easy to use. Specially designed for people who may have
limited use of their hands from the destructive progression of RA, the
lightweight syringe has large plastic wings and an indented thumb rest grip
which make it easy to hold. The HUMIRA Pen is a unique single-use,
disposable device that makes it easier and less painful to inject. Each Pen
is pre-loaded with a dose of HUMIRA. And you can self-inject HUMIRA without
seeing a needle during the injection process.

SimpleJect and
EZ-Syringe, innovative self-injection devices for a rheumatoid arthritis medication called

NASONEX® (mometasone furoate monohydrate) Nasal Spray, 50
