The holiday season means that you have too much to do and not enough time to do it in. Cooking is particularly far down on the list. With all the shopping, parties and entertainment, when do you have time to fix a healthful meal.

Online Recipe Swap
To make things easier on you during the holidays, we are organizing an online food swap. When trying to think of a way to find helpful recipes that are easy on people with arthritis, we thought that you are the best place to come to find them. After all, you have to manage cooking with arthritis every day.

This is a place where you can share a recipe and find something to fix for dinner tonight. Please submit your favorite recipes. We are beginning with the following categories:

  • Quick Recipes: These should be recipes that take 30-45 minutes to prepare and don't call for too much chopping or too many ingredients.
  • Favorite Meals to Freeze: These should be meals that are great to stick in the freezer to heat up on a day that you don't have time to cook.
  • One-Pot Meals/Slow-Cooker Recipes: These should be meals that cut down on clean-up and effort
  • Easy Dishes for Company: These should be recipes that taste difficult but are a snap to fix.

Submit Your Recipe
When you submit your recipe, please include the following information:

  • Your name
  • Where you are from
  • The type of arthritis you have
  • What category this recipe falls under (see above)
  • How long it takes to prepare the recipe and how many servings it has
  • A quick story about when you like to fix this meal
  • If you recipe isn't original, please cite the book where you got it

You'll find submissions posted here on the site. Thanks for sharing your recipes. We hope this recipe swap area becomes a resource where you find meals that help you stay healthy.
