Assessing the Impact of Joint Replacements for Rheumatoid Arthritis
Studying joint replacement in people with RA will help patients understand how well the procedure works and what results patients can expect, such as how much swelling and pain will remain after surgery, how they’ll feel and whether cardiovascular problems or risk of infection will complicate the surgery.

New Research Grants Awarded
Take a look at the new research grants announced so far for 2011. During this year, more than $11 million dollars in grant monies will be awarded to researchers from universities, hospitals, and clinics all across the United States. The current list includes Training and Career Development Awards., with additional categories to be announced in May and in the fall. Quite an impressive list!
