Local Teen Honored for Leadership by Arthritis Foundation
Nolan Walker was honored over the Fourth of July weekend at the Arthritis Foundation’s national Juvenile Arthritis (JA) Conference with The Dawn Hafeli Award for Youth Leadership. The conference was held in Keystone, Colo. Hafeli, the conference co-founder and arthritis awareness trailblazer, personally presented the award. Read the article in Northeast Ohio Parent Magazine.

Inspiring others to take control of arthritis
IT Manager Carol Arbaczewski’s doctor said she was almost positive Carol had rheumatoid arthritis even before drawing her blood for a final, conclusive test. When Carol replied that she was too young to have arthritis, her doctor said something she’s never forgotten.

The physicians included in this list have advised us that they are licensed in the state of Ohio to practice medicine and that they are qualified to treat patients with arthritis. Further, they meet the criteria established by the Arthritis Foundation’s Medical and Scientific Committee for inclusion. Inclusion is voluntary and the list may not be complete.
