Honor Your Arthritis Heroes at the 10th Annual Central Ohio Arthritis Walk!

The Central Ohio Arthritis Walk will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at the Sports Complex in Westerville, Ohio. Registration will open at 8:30 AM.  Beginning at 10:00 AM., hundreds of participants will choose between a one-mile or 5K route and begin running and walking to show their support for those affected by arthritis. 

The Arthritis Walk is entirely mission focused, allowing our Arthritis Heroes to share their personal stories about their arthritis journey with family, friends, and the entire Central Ohio community.  It’s the time where we can recognize them for their strength and raise funds in their honor.
 
More than 300 communities nationwide participate in Arthritis Walks.  Become part of something greater than yourself by forming a team of friends and family. The money you raise plays an important role in funding arthritis research, health education and government advocacy initiatives.  All individuals who raise $100 or more will receive the 2012 Walk t-shirt and an Arthritis Foundation drawstring bag.  All individuals who raise more than $250 will be eligible for various incentive prizes including wireless stereo headphones, a flip video recorder, an iPod Shuffle, or even an iPad!  Learn about incentive prizes and more by visiting www.letsmovetogethercentralohio.kintera.org. 
 
Don’t forget about the opportunity to celebrate your extraordinary patient-doctor relationship by nominating your healthcare provider for the My Doc Rocks! program.  My Doc Rocks! is a way for the Arthritis Foundation to help you honor the relationship you’ve built with your doctor or other healthcare professional. At the walk you will also be able to:
