Volunteer Opportunities

Advocacy Volunteers
Dedicated to educating policymakers on the challenges facing people with arthritis, developing a unified and consumer-based advocacy agenda, and advocating for adoption of the agenda in Washington, D.C. and the state capital.

E-Advocacy Volunteers
These volunteers are the chief resource for making positive changes in Washington.  By signing up, you'll receive Action Alerts in your inbox when important arthritis-related issues are debated on Capitol Hill.

Health Fair Volunteers
The Arthritis Foundation provides individuals with the information they need to understand their diagnosis and self-manage their disease. Health fair volunteers do this by raising arthritis awareness and educating others at health fairs.

Office Volunteers
Office volunteers help us carry out everyday necessary tasks projects like mailings, phone call projects or organizing our materials on an as-needed basis.  We especially need on-call volunteers around the times of our special events.

Program Leaders
As a program leader or instructor you will be trained by an Arthritis Foundation Certified Trainer to effectively teach one or more of the following program(s): Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program, Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program, and/or Arthritis Foundation Tai Chi Program.

Member of the Speaker's Bureau
Speaker’s Bureau serves as a pool of individuals who are willing to speak in front of groups and organizations. Presentations are already created and the volunteer shares the information.

Special Event Volunteer
Whether it is our Arthritis Walk or the annual Jingle Bell Run, we are always in need of individuals who can volunteer at our events.  There are several ways you can help!
