The Arthritis Walk in Central Ohio will be held on May 1, 2011 at the Sports Complex in Westerville, Ohio. Opening ceremonies for the event begin at 8:30 a.m. Then, at 10 a.m. hundreds of participants will begin walking and running to show their support of the more than 486,000 people in central Ohio and 11,500 children statewide who have arthritis. In a larger scope they are supporting the 46 million (one in five) Americans who are currently battling arthritis.
Form a team of friends and family and raise money together! A team is just 10 or more people who join together to walk to fight arthritis. All individuals who raise $100 or more will receive the 2010 Walk t-shirt and the NEW Arthritis Foundation drawstring bag. That’s simply asking 10 people for $10 or five people for $20. You won’t want to miss this community event that is like no other!
