Meet the 2013 Columbus Walk Arthritis Youth Honoree

Brennan Dameron, 7, is the 2013 Arthritis Walk Youth Honoree. He has a heart-melting smile and a positive outlook on life. Diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA) before the age of three, Brennan and his family have been fighting arthritis for more than half his young life.  Click here to read about his journey with arthritis and how he is fighting for a cure.


 Spring Cleaning is Good Medicine

In early March the Arthritis Foundation and Ohio Health partnered to host “You Can Do It Columbus.” This one-day event featured experts in exercise and joint health from across the Midwest. Osteoarthritis (OA) is joint damage that has been caused by ongoing localized trauma (injury) to the joint. It is the typical arthritis people start to feel as they begin to enter middle age.
