The Queens Leaders Award Reception provides the forum for the New York Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation to celebrate the ongoing cooperation between community leaders and the Chapter, and to evaluate and address the evolving needs the residents of Queens who live with arthritis.

At the 2010 Queens Leaders Award Reception, distinguished members of the Queens community, who have set themselves apart through civic, cultural, philanthropic, human service, or professional commitments will be honored. The Reception's goals are to raise awareness about arthritis, raise the profile of the Foundation in Queens, and to raise funds to support our mission.

Queens has a proud history with the Arthritis Foundation; beginning with Joseph R. Ficalora, former Honoree and Co-Chairman of this event, since the event's inception. Today, committee members and honorary chairmen continue to help the Foundation build important relationships with business and community leaders in forming new alliances with companies that thrive in the borough.

Celebrating its 16^th year, the Queens Leaders Award Reception will take place in October 2010. Please check back for additional information.
