The Brooklyn Leaders Award Reception provides the forum for the New York Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation to celebrate the ongoing cooperation between community leaders and the Chapter, and to evaluate and address the evolving needs of Brooklynites with arthritis.

At the 2010 Brooklyn Leaders Award Reception, distinguished members of the Brooklyn community, who have set themselves apart through civic, cultural, philanthropic, human service, or professional commitments will be honored. The Reception's goals are to raise awareness about arthritis, raise the profile of the Foundation in Brooklyn, and to raise funds to support our mission. Over the past 20 years, hundreds of businesses and individuals have supported this event, raising over $1.2 million!

Celebrating its 21^st year, the Brooklyn Leaders Award Reception will take place in September 2010 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM in The Palm House on the grounds of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden (www.bbg.org). Please check back for additional information.
