The Nebraska office of the Arthritis Foundation is part of the Heartland Region, a six-state area comprised of local offices in Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Illinois and Indiana. Each state serves its constituents with at least one service office with dedicated staff and volunteers.
Formed in 1948, the Arthritis Foundation is the only national, voluntary health organization that works on behalf of all people affected by arthritis and related diseases. We serve the 336,000 adults and 1,800 children affected by arthritis in the area.
The Arthritis Foundation provides free information, education, programs and services. Please browse our website for upcoming events, programs and services, volunteer opportunities, and ways to donate.
May is Arthritis Action Month
Throughout May, the Arthritis Foundation urges taking action to change the course of arthritis. From participating in a nearby Arthritis Walk, to improving your health through fitness and nutrition, to speaking out about the seriousness of arthritis – there's a lot you can do to raise awareness and reduce the impact of the nation's leading cause of disability.
RA Scholarships are available! Be one of 30 people diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) or a family member and receive a one-time scholarship of up to $5,000.
You need a weapon to fight osteoarthritis pain. Take simple steps and keep that New Year’s resolution to get moving. Visit www.FightArthritisPain.org to learn more about fighting osteoarthritis.
