Jingle in July
Jingle underground this holiday season at the 25th annual Jingle Bell Run, presented locally by Ameristar Cares! This year promises to be the biggest Jingle Bell Run in Kansas City history, and we’ll celebrate with jugglers, magicians, a face-painting station for kids, and a steady array of upbeat, holiday music! It all happens at Meritex Executive Park in Lenexa, an underground corporate “cave” with an average yearlong temperature of 68 degrees! Art for Arthritis
Most people don’t think about children having arthritis but more than 3,000 children in the Kansas City Metro area have some form of this painful disease. Our Art for Arthritis event teams as many as 20 local children affected by juvenile arthritis with area artists to spend a summer together creating unique pieces of artwork. The art is then auctioned off at the Art for Arthritis event in order to raise money for nationwide arthritis research, as well as local programs and services. read more
Commitment to a Cure
Commitment to a Cure, presented by HCA Midwest, is an annual campaign event of the Kansas City office of the Arthritis Foundation in which we educate, inspire and engage people through personal testimonials and celebrity firepower.
