The Arthritis Foundation has a long history of celebrating leaders whose work has significantly impacted our community and those with arthritis. Arthritis is the nation’s leading cause of disability and Roger Penske and the Penske Corporation’s philanthropic endeavors have touched countless lives globally and here in Detroit – including those living with arthritis and other disabilities.
The School Resource Interactive CD is designed to allow you to easily move through the module to the areas that are of interest. Join us at one of five 2014 Walk to Cure Arthritis events in Michigan. Walk to Cure Arthritis (formerly named Arthritis Walk) is a fun and non-competitive three-mile walking event that supports public awareness and raises funds to fight arthritis. People of all ages and origins get arthritis including children. It’s the leading cause of disability in the United States affecting more than 50
million people nationwide and 2.3 million in Michigan.
