Welcome to Metropolitan Washington
There are more than 52 million Americans with Arthritis - 104,000 of them live in Washington D.C. The Arthritis Foundation is the Champion of Yes. We are focused on finding a cure and championing the fight against arthritis through vital information, advocacy, science and community. Our goal is to chart a winning course, guiding families in developing personalized plans for saying yes – day after day.
The Arthritis Foundation is partnering with Camp Holiday Trails in Charlottesville, VA to host JA Camp from June 18-23, 2017! Camp is a great place to meet new friends, develop independence, and build self-confidence!

For many young people, a week at camp with other kids who have JA can change their life. The Arthritis Foundation’s JA camps give kids with arthritis and related conditions the chance to make lasting memories. For many campers, it’s the first time they’ve met other kids who live with the same challenges and limitations.
