The Arthritis Foundation is proud to announce that Trish Hannon, RN, MBA, FACHE President and Chief Executive Officer of New England Baptist Hospital has been appointed to serve on the Board of Directors for the National Arthritis Foundation.
Steve Evangelista, CEO of the Arthritis Foundation New England Region states, “We are very excited to have Trish join our national board. She brings great experience, knowledge and a drive for success that will work well with our leadership culture.” Trish will be joining a 26 member Board of Directors that includes Dan McGowan. Mr. McGowan is currently Chairman of the Board of Hygea Health Holdings, LLC, a comprehensive Medical Services Organization headquartered in Miami, Florida.

Trish Hannon became the tenth President and Chief Executive Officer of New England Baptist Hospital in November, 2009. Trish has more than thirty years of experience in health care administration in clinical operations and strategic roles. Since Trish has taken the reins of the 120-year-old hospital on Mission Hill, the New England Baptist Hospital has refocused its mission as a specialty hospital serving patients throughout New England for musculoskeletal diseases and related disorders. Recognized as a top hospital for orthopedics by US News & World Report, the Baptist has also achieved top performance in clinical quality reported by Premier and Healthgrades. The Baptist recently was honored with the Press Ganey National Summit Award for best performance in patient satisfaction, for the sixth consecutive year.
