James McCluskey, BMedSc, MB BS, MD, FRACP, FRCPA, of the University of Melbourne, has been awarded the prestigious Rose Payne Distinguished Scientist Award by the American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics. It was given to Professor McCluskey in recognition of his work in the study of how genes control immunity. We’re proud to claim Dr. McCluskey as “one of our own” – he received an Arthritis Investigator award from the Arthritis Foundation in 1986-89. Congratulations Jim!
