Welcome to Hawaii
There are more than 50 million Americans with Arthritis - 218,000 of them live in Hawaii. The Arthritis Foundation is the Champion of Yes. We are focused on finding a cure and championing the fight against arthritis through vital information, advocacy, science and community. Our goal is to chart a winning course, guiding families in developing personalized plans for saying yes – day after day.
Camp Mana’olana is a 6 day/5 night resident overnight camp sponsored by the Arthritis Foundation for youth ages 7-16, with juvenile arthritis and other childhood rheumatic diseases. This year, the Arthritis Foundation is partnering with YMCA Camp Erdman in Waialua, HI. to host an amazing new experience for our campers.
Your support of the Arthritis Foundation Hawaii goes to fund events such as JA Camp for kids with juvenile arthritis. Watch and hear from some of our campers, camp counselors and Hawaii board members as they talk about this year's camp!
Faces of Arthritis
Striking one in every five adults and 300,000 children, arthritis is the nation's leading cause of disability. The Arthritis Foundation is committed to raising awareness and reducing the impact of this serious, painful and unacceptable disease, which can rob people of living life to its fullest.
