Group VP, Customer Relationship Marketing

The Group Vice President for Customer Relationship Marketing will be responsible for developing strategies and overseeing the management and implementation of activities to generate income at a reasonable cost from the Foundation’s customer database. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, you will develop and oversee the management and implementation of activities to market the Foundation's mission through its products and services to its various publics nationwide and expand the Foundation’s base of customers. Additional responsibilities include developing and managing budgets for direct marketing initiatives (including three or more pilot programs) to meet objectives in a cost efficient manner.

Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field, plus a minimum of ten years experience in direct marketing, preferable in the nonprofit arena, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have proven resource management and team-building skills; success in developing creative, market-driven strategies to acquire, renew, recapture and upgrade customers based on historical data; proven ability to direct and manage a multi-media, multi-channel marketing program that includes direct mail, all pilot endeavors, telemarketing, affinity marketing, print media, market research, packaging, distribution and sales; thorough knowledge of direct marketing disciplines and database marketing methods and systems; and experience in analyzing customer data to identify market trends and patterns.
