Volunteers play a vital role in our efforts to accomplish our mission: to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control, and cure of arthritis and related diseases. By volunteering with us, you can help us make a difference in a person's life.
Volunteer Opportunities include:
Administrative tasks: mass mailing preparation; data entry; working on small office projects for upcoming events and programs – follow up phone calls, assembling goody bags , packet preparation, Camp Ache Away logistic prep, Supporting Arthritis Kids (SAK) assembling and shipping
Represent the Georgia office at Health Fairs. Volunteers are critical at these events, they provide us with the opportunity to raise awareness and build new relationships through educating and interacting with attendees.
Join our Speakers Bureau. Provide presentations at various venues (senior centers, companys, church's) about arthritis and the Arthritis Foundation. Training, materials and presentation provided.
Volunteer for our JA events– assist with children’s activities and arts and crafts
Serve on a committee to assist us in furthering our mission. Our committee’s plan logistics and discuss strategy in the following areas: Advocacy, Medical, JA Leaders, Arthritis Walk, Jingle Bell Run/Walk and the Crystal Ball.
