Form A Team
Forming a team and participating in the Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis is a great way to give back each holiday season.

As a team captain, you’ll feel good knowing that your group made a difference in the fight against arthritis. You’ll build camaraderie and increase your visibility in the community, while participating in a healthy activity. As a team, you’ll be eligible for great team prizes. But most of all, running or walking as part of a team is fun!
Team Captain Check List
- Choose a creative team name and register for your event online. It’s fast and easy. You can even create your own team web page. Using the internet makes recruiting team members and raising funds easier.
- Select your state from the drop-down list at the top of this page. Then select your local Jingle Bell Run/Walk.
- Select the "Register here" link and agree to the standard participant waiver.
- "Start a team" of your own or "Join a team." You can also "Join as an Individual."
- Complete the registration form and you will automatically be sent to a page titled "My HQ" to set up your personal donation Web page and monitor your progress.
- Set a team fundraising goal. Working toward a goal will motivate your team members.
- Ask friends, family, neighbors and coworkers to join in the effort. As you invite people to join you, ask them to visit your team website. There, they can choose to join your team or give a donation.
- Decide on festive team costumes or wear matching outfits to show your team spirit.
- On race day, tell your team to be there with bells on!
